This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing team during a period of transformation. As our Senior Human Resources Business Partner based in Mackay, you will partner closely with the Regional Area Manager and operational leaders to enable performance, build capability, and deliver key business objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will:

  • Build strong trusted relationships with our operational business leaders advising them on policies, processes, and award interpretation to ensure fair and consistent decisions.
  • Coach and build leader capability for the future to managing performance, behaviour, and team culture, so we can continue to be seen as one of the best companies to work for.
  • Oversee employee relations cases, in partnership with the Employee Relations team.
  • Drive a safety-first culture whilst overseeing workforce and safety-related processes.
  • Deliver performance and talent initiatives, supporting reviews, succession planning, and development pathways as we continue to build a world class culture.
  • Enhance employee experience and support change, embedding engagement initiatives and new ways of working.

What you’ll need:

  • Degree in Human Resources / Business or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience managing performance and conduct matters
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine desire to contribute strong relationship‑building skills to a business that thrives on connection
  • An interest in making a meaningful difference and supporting a great team—while having fun along the way
